Founder An Bui spent years working at Mekong, his family's popular Vietnamese restaurant that's just minutes from Richmond homes for sale. In 2014, An parlayed Mekong's reputation as an outstanding beer bar into his own craft brewery. With 56 taps, pouring The Answer's own brews as well as top craft beers from around the country, there's always something new to try. Hours are 4 p.m. - midnight Monday through Wednesday, noon - midnight Thursday through Saturday, and noon - 10 p.m. Sunday.

Bryant's Cider & Brewery gives top billing to the beverage on which their reputation was originally built. The tasting room serves quality ciders made with apples sourced from the family's farm that dates back to post-Civil War days. Most of the ciders are gluten- and sugar-free so they can be enjoyed by just about everyone. Craft beer was a natural extension, and Bryant's currently has a core selection consisting of a Kolsch, stout, APA, and wheat beer. Founder Mark Thompson opened the second-oldest craft brewery in Virginia after learning the fine points of the business in Oregon and Colorado. The Scott's Addition location is the third of Starr Hill's six facilities in the RVA area. Enjoy your brew on the rooftop, on the first level, or outside on the dog-friendly patio. Starr Hill is open 4 p.m. - 9 p.m. Monday through Wednesday, 4 p.m. - 10 p.m. Thursday, noon - 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and noon - 7 p.m. Sunday.
